Interesting uses of ‘Mass Photography’

Sites like Flickr are facilitating many interesting applications. Creative researchers find new ways of ‘mass photos’ (photos taken by masses of people and posted on such sites) to do things that could not be imagined earlier. One such thing is reported here.

“The system provides an opportunity to use the billions of user-contributed images available online to ‘reconstruct the world’ without relying on specialised equipment,” Goesele told New Scientist.
