I had difficulty sleeping in night. Too many times my machine beeped due to minor problems and then they had to change my ivy line. Today I am feeling sleepy and have been sleeping a lot.
My throat is bothering. Doctor Nieva thiks that it is the effect of radiation. I had 5 sessions. 23 more to go. Luckily it is only during week days so now I have two days off. Chemo side effects are coming but are not as bad as I was anticipating. The worst things so far are that I am tired and don\’t feel like eating much.
Yesterday I saw Mugal-E-Azam. It was great. One of the best made movies in India. Thanks, Neelam, for giving me the movie. I continue reading the book \’It\’s not about the Bike, My journey back to Life\’ by Lance Armstrong. That book certainly describes a very different experience than mine — well he was in a very different stage. I consider myself lucky that Dr. Major Reid pushed me and got this \’enenmy\’ dtected in early stage. I can easily get rid off — compared to many people from whom I heard.
Proposal for ITR was done — I am suppose to the the PI — but most work was done by others, particularly Rahul and Kishore. It looks very good. I am sure that I helped a lot by not interfering.
